The Churchill Woods Forest Preserve Trail is eight-feet wide, and runs through woods, along the river, and through the prairies. The East Branch DuPage River provides more than two miles of waterway frontage. The Great Western Trail stem of the Illinois Prairie Path passes through the preserve and can be accessed from the trail.
