The Fox River Trail is one of the most popular in the Chicagoland area. It winds through the Fox River Valley from Aurora to Crystal Lake, and is about 45 miles west of the Chicago loop at its closest point. You'll bike through forest and nature preserves, and serveral historic and interesting communities. The trail connects to the Illinois Prairie Path , the Great Western Trail and the Virgil Gilman Trail.Setting: Open Spaces
