The Robert McClory Bike Path was named in 1997 and was previously known as the Lake County section of the Green Bay Trail and the North/South section of the North Shore Trail. It extends the length of the County to the Wisconsin State line. It continues as the Green BayTrail in Cook County and north as the Kenosha County Trail in Wisconsin. In Highwood and Highland Park, the biker must ride through parking lots or on street connections. The southern portion is mainly urban to suburban, while the northern portion opens up into prairie and light woods.Setting: Open Spaces, Prairie
