The Vadalabene River Road Bikeway runs from Alton to Pere Marquette State Park. The bikeway is bordered by towering limestone cliffs and the Mississippi River, and is a recreational destination for bicycle enthusiasts. The northern section follows the wide paved shoulders on the McAdams Parkway to Grafton. The southern section is a separate paved path built on an abandoned railroad line at the base of the bluffs.Setting: Open Spaces
