Prairie FarmerTrail is built on abandoned railbed between Calmer and Cresco. The surrounding area includes native prairie, wooded areas and farmland. Parks near the trail include Chimney Rock Park and Kendallville Park, both of which offer canoe access to the Upper Iowa River with its bluffs and limestone cliffs.
