Trail Notes: Stone State Park, with 1,085-acres, is located in the northwest corner of Sioux City in Woodbury and Plymouth Counties. Of the 10-miles of trails, the 5-miles in the southern half are open to bicycling and are marked. In addition to the trail system, park facilities include a lodge, camping and picnic area. Stone Park is located entirely in the unique Loess Hills of western Iowa.
