Wilson Island State Recreation Area is located about southwest of the town of Missouri Valley. It consists of 577-acres of dense cottonwood stands on a level floodplain. The looped trails are grassy and multi-use. There is also a visitors center.Setting: Wooded, Open Spaces, Wetlands
